Fabrication
Nu-Way Industries provides sheet metal fabrication services in many forms of fabrication processes and equipment. Our Des Plaines location utilizes CNC equipment including shears, turrets, lasers, and combination processing machines for accurate sheet metal profiling. Intermediary processes such as CNC press brake forming, hardware stacking, and punch press operations followed by some of the newest and innovative laser welding technology work stations that creates less part distortion and better overall joined surface finishes. Our finishing department holds two high output powder coating lines, one large booth finishing oven, silkscreening, and decal production for a variety of substrate types. Additional value-added fabrication services include mechanical and electro-mechanical assembly, custom packaging, and direct-to-client distribution services to many of our valued clients. By providing these additional services our clients are able to reduce the number of supply chain vendors.

Product Development
Nu-Way’s approach to New Product Development (NPD) is one of our best-value added services. We promote early engineering involvement to provide design recommendations for improved manufacturability and cost improvements as well as advanced product and reliability analysis. We lead all client design engagements with engineering and utilize design for manufacturing (DFM) principles to drive those improvement desires. Certification & Compliance
As a manufacturer of UL50 & UL508a certified sheet metal indoor/outdoor enclosures and control panels – we adhere to National Electrical Manufacturer Association (NEMA) standards to insure the highest levels of electrical safety and product performance. Nu-Way is committed to making the right electrical enclosures for every application.
Nu-Way can help your organization achieve product compliance through most of the regulatory agencies such as UL, ETL and NSF by providing design feedback and guidance to achieve compliance quickly. Once achieved – Nu-Way will maintain those standard compliances well into production and manage the periodic agency compliance audits.

Supply Chain & Management
Our Supply Chain Management system coordinates the procurement process and manufacturing processes to ensure that raw materials and components arrive Just-In-Time. We have the systems, knowledge, and experience to help set up, improve, or transition a supply chain for our customers.
By capitalizing on raw materials through bulk purchasing, we reduce the overall cost exposure to our customers. We also work collaboratively with suppliers to understand their constraints and map our processes to drive extra costs out of the supply chain. Our SCM system produces valuable benefits such as new efficiencies, increased collaboration, and lower costs for our customers.
Getting your products delivered safely and damage-free for our customers is our top priority. We utilize experienced logistical carrier companies for long-haul and offer hotshot transportation throughout the greater Chicagoland area.
